Reclamation (Un registro de mi afuera) / Reclamación (A Record of My Distance)
Developed film negatives with images of landscapes and seascapes in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico were buried in the ground where the photograph was first made, or submerged in water collected from the ocean. The film was buried or submerged for the duration of time between my visits to Puerto Rico. Once recognizable images would break down, and new ones would emerge, creating a record of my distance.
